MSME’s from different provinces in the region has given a chance to showcase their products last Likha ng Central Luzon. The trade fair was held at SM Mega Trade Hall in Mandaluyong City from October 2-6.
“The Likha trade fair is one of the most awaited trade events for MSMEs in the region,” said Zorina Aldana. Mrs. Aldana is the assistant regional director of the Department of Trade and Industry Region III (DTI-III).
Since 1999, Likha ng Central Luzon (LCL) Regional Trade Fair is the major promoting event held annually in Metro Manila. Aside from promoting products, the Department of Trade and Industry grab this chance to give awards for top-performing MSME.
Metro Manila, the country’s center of trade and commerce, is the great market for promoting the quality products of region III. In Addition, creating new exporters among the fair’s participants has been maximized because of the good market venue.
Under the project, the DTI provided MSMEs from Central Luzon with design consultancy, product development services, and packaging and labeling design assistance.
Likha ng Central Luzon (LCL) Regional Trade Fair
Now in its 21st year, the LikhaTrade Fair benefits thousands of traders who have participated since 1998. Central Luzon MSMEs captured wider-markets and mainstreamed their products in major malls because of their exposure from Likha Trade Fair.
Because of the exposure from Likha Trade Fair, Central Luzon MSMEs get a wider market and mainstreams products in major malls/stores.
Over 160 MSMEs from Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales have participated. And showcase their products to local and international buyers.
Many of the participating entrepreneurs have been able to sell to some of the big retail chains in the National Capital Region. Others have already gone to cater to international buyers.
This year, the DTI official said the Likha exhibitors target to earn more than PHP40 million, aside from getting booked orders.
